Discovering More You

I have always felt that we are an accumulation of all we have done, so far in our lives. Yet, the main (faulted) reason I married both of my husbands was that I felt they had great, undeveloped potential. Needless to say, I thought I was just the right person to help them bring all of that out. Now, I can say that I was very young, and obviously wrong -“If you want more for the other person than they want for themselves, YOU will be frustrated.” Richard Bach – one of my favorite writers that I learned so much from – eventually.

Yet, recently watching a PBS Ancestry show, where the participants are trying to verify their ancestor’s possible famous place in history. For those who got the satisfying answer, immediately changed how they felt about themselves, and several had great plans on how they would now change in what they felt they could accomplish. There is usually an age, or perhaps a situation in your life, in which you get to a point where you may curb-your-enthusiasm for what all you think you might accomplish. For you and a lot of other people, this may be your unresolved potential or a decision of keeping some talent as a hobby, rather than pursuing it more extensively.

The idea of who you are, is what you think of as you, and/or stated to you or by others. Your identity may have created opportunities in your life that have defined you. How far you took those opportunities is possibly another consideration, regarding the pursuing/pushing your potentials. There will be those times when others – maybe younger – get offered, or work toward career options that you sometime past, focused upon or considered. There could have been many various reasons you do not go for them. Now, you may be reconsidering your identity, and what talents – potentials you let slip past.

Think about the way you are living, and how it reflects who you think you are. Right now is a good time to be living in for you, as it is all about opening-up to a vaster sense-of-self. Invite yourself to take some time to experience a direct-knowing of your true being/self. Trust me, it is never too late to learn, and know more true feeling regarding yourself. Deep breathe and understand which ways you can open up your life to new experiences, and even profound joy. Your talent – potential is always available, yet it is up to you to claim it, use it.

Think about going on an inner-journey of finding and remembering what your truth of who you really are. This means being open to discovering who you are, beyond all the ideas based simply on what has happened in all of your life experiences. In other words, You are More than the mere accumulation of those experiences. Consider that who you might be bigger than everything you’ve experienced. The Universe has never told you that you were limited – only you and your limited world/associates have. Your magnificence could be a presence waiting to be discovered. You have access to the truth about who you are simply by asking the Universe/Source.

What might transpire in your life if you were to fully, freely access all your talents and potentials in your life? About who you could be, if you wanted to be. And, that this new sense of Self might arise from discovered direct-knowing within you? Those changes that would occur on this newly, opened path could be far more magnificent than you ever imagined. Clarity removes any misunderstandings of who others and yourself thought you were, as this new vibration brings Divine Wholeness in, being who you were meant to be. That’s real Empowerment to practice and share.
