Awareness of Self

Being timid is not appealing once you’re an adult, so if you are, you really do need to work on getting rid of it. This is not just about success, it is about living your life fully and believing you are accepted for who you are. No one is truly an overnight success, and some of us took a decade or more to come into who we are. The secret is doing your best work fearlessly for a long time, and also the persistence of doing the work in the right place in the right way for a very long time. When you invest more time in awareness, the less time you need to invest in concern or worry about what you’re doing, and how you’re doing it. Regarding Priorities, they do change with age but personal-self, family, beliefs and home need to be at the top; then job, transportation and friends, extended friends follow; travel, culture and hobbies/interests, etc. are for fill-in.

Change, or disruption, is often a blessing that may come disguised as that which you do not want in your world. Sometimes knowing what you don’t want is the quickest way to knowing what you do want. Clarity of mind is necessary in order to bring about that which you would like to see manifested in every area of your life. An inner-focused mind is guided by the soul-self, which uses the right brain consciousness of intuition, connected to the higher Sacred Mind and Spiritual Will. As you replace all your negative past beliefs with the unconditional love and abundance, which flows through all of Creation, you’re on your way. You find yourself no longer haunted by any nagging doubts about whether you deserve your full worth as a Spiritual Being. The world is waiting for You to rise to the place where you will realize your life’s full potential.

Grace in your life is like an ease and flow of energy. You benefit more from it by slowing down to make room and time for it, as well the things you take for granted. Grace makes life bearable when you are overwhelmed by humanity’s ugliness and vulgarity. It has a quiet stillness with its power and presence, as you feel the warm embrace of connection. When you feel anger coming up, flip it around and turn it into active passion. Ask yourself what this feeling is reminding you of. What reality or behavior would you prefer to be witnessing or experiencing instead of what is happening? There is usually no point in talking to people about what they have done when it is reactionary. Rarely do people truly listen for the understanding of what you’re saying – especially if contrary in any way to their beliefs. Ignoring something or someone tells them they are not important or of value to you. Sometimes just walking away is the best solution to another’s action.

Definitely let others make their own choices, whatever they are, without judging them. It’s not your place to do for them what you think they’re not capable of doing for themselves. You only need be concerned for yourself and finish what you started, because you do believe in yourself. Get rid of all that doubt, fear, confusion and criticism that used to have you second guess yourself. If you do look back, it is because you are at a place which your path has brought you for this moment. Consider the journey you are on that led us to this space and cross point. What have you learned? How much smarter, wiser, more confident and powerful are today because of the path you took? Breathe life into your life, and do those things that bring you joy. You do better today because you know better – you know yourself, life, your potential and possibilities. But most of all, because you love yourself, you know that whatever journey you are on, there are always choices to do something different. So, you keep stepping forward on each new journey. Now, that’s Empowerment!
